Customer Service Coordinator
The coordinator will have primary responsibility to perform customer service functions in support of our NVOCC operation. The coordinator will take a primary lead and make it a priority in booking ocean and truck freight with the carriers that best fit the customers needs, ensure container pickups happen as planned and proactively communicate with customers on potential new business to book.
The coordinator will take primary lead in communication with steamship line, booking new shipments and making changes / corrections as needed in a timely manner.
The coordinator will work with diligence and accuracy acting as a liaison for the customer to all parties that impact the transaction.
The coordinator will make it a point of emphasis to proactively reach out to the customer and solicit additional business or inquire of additional services MAC can provide.
The coordinator will be primary to work and take a proactive role with truckers to organize logistics and coordinate with steamship lines / railroads to get containers billed in a manner to ensure their shipments get on the vessels as planned.
